– Zelina Vega has been cleared to resume wrestling, according to a report today by PWInsider. She is in St. Louis, Missouri for tonight’s SmackDown LIVE at Enterprise Center.
PWInsider reported last week that Vega got injured at WWE Evolution during the Women’s Battle Royal. The belief among people in WWE is that she suffered a concussion when she got tossed out of the ring by Nia Jax, although that hasn’t been confirmed. WWE officials kept her off the European tour as a safety precaution.
Vega was at the WWE Performance Center on Wednesday and those who saw her said she looked fine.
Ric Flair is also in St. Louis, Missouri for tonight’s SmackDown LIVE, according to PWInsider. There’s no word yet if the WWE Hall of Famer will appear on the show.
– Sara Amato, who serves as Assistant Head Coach at the WWE Performance Center, turns 38 years old today.
In the video below, Amato reflects on the transformation of women’s wrestling ahead of the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view, WWE Evolution.
