WWE Thinking About Bringing Back Melina, Backstage News On Nia Jax’s Debut On Raw

– Last week, a rumor began circulating that WWE is interesting in bringing back Melina. Apparently, this rumor is true.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting this morning that Melina is one of the former Superstars people in WWE have talked about and/or contacted for a return.

The former WWE Women’s and Divas Champion, who was released from the company in 2011, has wrestled off and on since that time. She plans to wrestle in October for UK promotion Southside Wrestling.

– Monday’s Raw saw the WWE debut of Nia Jax, who handily beat Britt Baker (her name was mentioned on the show, but WWE is referring to her as a ‘local competitor’ in its YouTube clip of the match). It was not a seamless debut as Jax busted up her opponent. Behind the scenes, it wasn’t seen as a big deal as it was more or less chalked up to Jax being nervous.
