WWE officials are discussing the idea of presenting an all women’s live event featuring talent from the main roster this fall.
After the women of WWE were not allowed to perform at the Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27 at the King Abdullah Sports City’s International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, organization officials are looking to make up for the controversial decision. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet was told by WWE sources that the idea of an all women’s show taking place in late September or October is seriously being discussed by higher-ups.
It’s unclear if the proposed event would also feature some of the women on the NXT roster, outside talent or former stars.
