– WWE’s website has a new poll asking fans how they would describe The Undertaker’s attack on Brock Lesnar at last night’s RAW in Minneapolis – “Tactical, he needs to use every weapon at his disposal” or “Cowardly, he resorted to a low blow once again.” With over 12,000 votes, 63% believe The Deadman was being tactical.
– WWE stock was down 1.40% today, closing at $21.19 per share. Today’s high was $21.53 and the low was $20.89.
– WWE’s Scott Stanford will be interviewing Paul Heyman on Wednesday night and Jim Ross on Thursday night for PIX11 news in New York City, where he also works. Heyman will be talking SummerSlam while Ross is promoting his one-man show that take place on Saturday night.
– We noted earlier today that Triple H announced new matches, for a total of 10, and a new start time for Saturday’s WWE NXT “Takeover: Brooklyn” event. It appears they have given the event an extra hour. The pre-show will begin on the WWE Network at 7:30pm EST instead of 8:30pm EST and the actual Takeover event will begin at 8pm EST instead of 9pm EST. The extra third hour is not confirmed as the new start time could just be due to them moving the show up as they were planning on taping an episode of NXT TV after Takeover goes off the air.
We’ll keep you updated when WWE Network releases a modified schedule. It’s also wort noting that at about 4pm EST today, shortly after Triple H’s announcement, the WWE Network issued an e-mail on Takeover, that did not mention the extra matches, but listed a start time of 9pm EST still. This could be a case of changes not making it to certain departments before the e-mail blast was sent out.
