WWE is pulling out all the stops for next week’s premiere of SmackDown Live on USA, which will feature the first brand split roster draft in years.
Not only will there be an hour-long pre-show available on all their digital platforms, just like they do for pay-per-view, but they’ve also announced a “second screen experience” which will broadcast simultaneously on WWE Network during the two hour show.
What exactly “WWE Draft Center Live” will consist of isn’t clear. WWE.com describes it as:
The revolutionary telecast will allow the WWE Universe to get inside the Draft in a way unlike any other as the lives of Superstars change forever – exclusively for WWE Network subscribers.
If it’s like other shows of its type, it will feature more interviews, highlight packages and commentary about draft picks which will be shown while other selections, matches and segments are airing on the main broadcast.
The night will then wrap-up with a post-show with reaction and more analysis, also exclusive to the Network.
