WWE Announces Dean Ambrose Arm Injury – Is He Really Injured?

WWE announced tonight that Dean Ambrose sustained an injury to his right arm during Raw’s Six-Man Tag Team Match, and the damage was exacerbated when his opponents, Samoa Joe and Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus, assaulted “The Lunatic Fringe” in the trainer’s room. The attack culminated when Joe slammed a road case onto Ambrose’s arm, leaving him writhing in pain.

WWE adds: “Ambrose was taken to a nearby medical facility for X-rays and evaluation, and more details on his condition should be available tomorrow.”

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Dean Ambrose has a legitimate right elbow injury even though on television it appeared to be an angle.

Meltzer isn’t sure of the severity of the injury but Ambrose came to Raw hurt and a storyline was created to cover for it.
