– Below are the top 10 moments from last night’s WWE SmackDown:
– Canadian wrestler Devon Nicholson was invited to the WWE Performance Center tryouts later this month but was just sent a letter last week that said he was uninvited. According to F4Wonline.com, no explanation was given. Nicholson, who previously sued WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah the Butcher over Hepatitis C and later announced he was cured, was originally invited to the camp after a recommendation by WWE’s Gerald Brisco.
– Former WWE star Jimmy Wang Yang turns 35 years old today while wrestling legend Danny Hodge turns 84, ROH star Scarlett Bordeaux turns 25 and former WCW star Glacier turns 52.
– WWE NXT star Chris Atkins made his in-ring debut at last night’s NXT live event in Bartow, FL. He teamed with Cezar Bononi but lost to “The Authors of Pain” Dinsha and Selmani. Atkins is from Australia and was signed back in the fall of 2015 with other WWE Performance Center recruits. Atkins, a former bodybuilder, was trained by George Julio, Craig Cole and Shane Trikki in Australia. Below is a photo of Atkins from last night:
