After Charlotte Flair overcame Natalya to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Tuesday night and will now instead face Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series, who is going to take The Queen’s place on Team SmackDown in the 5-on-5 Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match?

There is a lot of speculation that the final spot will be filled by Paige, who is ready to return to the ring.

On Thursday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that he was told the final spot will not be filled by Paige. Meltzer said the final spot will be filled by Natalya.

As for Paige, WWE officials debated on whether to put her on the Women’s Raw Survivor Series team. Meltzer said WWE planned on having Paige make her return on Raw and win the match to secure a spot on the Women’s Raw Survivor Series team. WWE ultimately picked Bayley for the spot despite having Paige travel to Atlanta, Georgia for Raw.

Bayley joins Raw Team Captain Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Asuka and Sasha Banks against SmackDown Team Captain Becky Lynch, Naomi, Carmella, Tamina and according to WWE.com, “a Superstar still to be named,” in the 5-on-5 Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.
