Wife Of Released WWE Announcer Rips Tom Phillips

After announcer Rich Brennan (real name Rich Bocchini) was released from WWE this week, his wife took to Twitter to rip on Tom Philips.

Brennan’s wife, Jessica Bocchini, responded to a quote attributed to former WWE Superstar and announcer Taz on his podcast.

“Rich Brennan was a humble type of play by guy learning the ropes and wanting to pay his dues,” said Taz. “Tom Phillips? Complete opposite.”

She wrote, “making it” in WWE has less to do with talent than who you’re willing to bury on your way to the top. Which is Tom’s specialty.”

Here is a snapshot of the tweet, which has since been deleted.

Phillips was the lead announcer on SmackDown flanked by color commentators Jerry Lawler and Byron Saxton until he was replaced by Brennan in August.

Jessica Bocchini has been retweeting messages showing support for her husband, including the following tweet from a fan asking WWE to bring him back.
