– With almost the entire roster assembled atop the ramp, including the Cruiserweights and SmackDown LIVE Superstars — and with an intro from Mr. McMahon himself — Stephanie McMahon and Triple H took to the ring at the opening of Raw and to announce WWE’s first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view, WWE Evolution.
You probably noticed NXT’s Nikki Cross standing among the group of Superstars during the announcement. The reason she was there is that she is on the road this week with the Superstars of SmackDown LIVE. On both Saturday in St. Louis, Missouri and Sunday in Springfield, Illinois, she teamed with Asuka and Naomi to defeat Lana and The IIconics.
WWE tweeted a clip of Cross’ bizarre ring entrance at Sunday’s show.
It looks like @NikkiCrossWWE is just a little excited for #WWESpringfield… pic.twitter.com/AsZ1zsYgjY

Although Cross is currently not on the main roster, her working house shows is a strong sign that WWE is looking to promote her.
