– Back in January, Dolph Ziggler returned to WWE following a several week absence in the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. A few weeks later, Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reported that Ziggler returned after signing a new two-year contract with WWE for $1.5 million per year. His report is apparently untrue as Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com says he was told by several WWE sources that as of this week, nothing has been signed and Ziggler’s current deal is slated to expire this summer.
During the Superstar Shake-up on Monday, Ziggler joined Raw and formed an alliance with Drew McIntyre as the two attacked Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews.
