– The song used in WWE’s tribute video for Roddy Piper is “Hold On Tight” by Greg Holden.

– WWE stock was up 10.21% today, closing at $22.23 per share. Today’s high was $22.30 and the low was $20.23.

– The August 2nd episode of The Rock’s “Ballers” on HBO drew 1.560 million viewers, down from last week’s 1.811 million viewers.

– WWE Chief Strategy & Financial Officer George Barrios will participate in a presentation at the Needham Interconnect Conference in New York City tomorrow. WWE’s Corporate website will have a live audio stream at around 10:40am EST.

– We noted several days ago that JBL had been teasing the biggest announcement of his career this week. It ended up being something we already knew – that he will be doing commentary in the WWE 2K16 video game. As noted, JBL will be calling action in the game with Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.
