– Nia Jax hasn’t wrestled a match on television since losing to Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss on July 15 at WWE Extreme Rules in an Extreme Rules Match and the WWE Universe is wondering what happened to her.
Jax revealed two weeks ago on Instagram that she was at home doing rehab, which seemed to indicate that she’s dealing with some type of injury (or injuries).
Dave Meltzer then reported last week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jax is “taking time off to heal up.”
Jax is in New York City for this weekend’s SummerSlam festivities and hosted a Be a STAR anti-bullying rally on Friday with fellow WWE Superstars at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in Bronx, New York. After the rally concluded, she spoke with Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com and denied that she has been dealing with any injuries. She also made mention of doing physical therapy as of late.
– In this SummerSlam Diary video, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss talks about how she wanted to face Ronda Rousey as soon as “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” joined WWE.
– After being congratulated on Twitter by former WWE Champion JBL for becoming the longest-reigning titleholder exclusive to the SmackDown LIVE brand, AJ Styles shares his thoughts on the incredible milestone in this SummerSlam Diary video.
