WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made Forbes’ annual list of billionaires.
According to the publication, McMahon’s “real-time net worth” is estimated at $1.8 billion, which makes him the 1,394th wealthiest person in the world. In the United States, he is the 436th wealthiest person.
The 72-year-old McMahon is on the list for the second consecutive year after narrowly missing out in 2016.
Forbes reported in April 2016 that while McMahon just missed the billionaire cutoff for that year’s list that was published two months prior, he managed to reach the threshold.
It marked a major comeback for McMahon, whose net worth dropped by $350 million in May 2014 after WWE’s stock plummeted.
WWE reported a 2017 fourth-quarter revenue of $211.6 million in February, which was a nine percent increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2016.
WWE also reported an overall 2017 revenue of $801 million, which was the highest in the company’s history.
McMahon first became a billionaire after WWE’s stock went public in 1999, and since returning to billionaire status in 2014, his wealth has steadily increased.
