Below is video from the most recent episode of “Off the Top Rope” with Jonathan Coachman on ESPN. In the following clip, the Coach is joined by current WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.
Sasha refers to her recent title win on RAW as “incredible” and says it’s been her only dream since she was a little girl. She touted her WWE NXT Takeover match with Bayley last year and is confident about stealing the show again this year at SummerSlam.
Coach asked how she came up with the name for the Banks Statement finisher and she bragged about how everyone taps out when they’re put into the hold. Coach brought up Sasha’s cousin Snoop Dogg and asked what he taught her about handling stardom. Sasha talked about how Snoop has supported her since she told him she wanted to make it to WWE. She called his performance for her at WrestleMania 32 a dream come true. Snoop has always believed in her and is so proud of her. Sasha also talked about how Snoop inspired her to become The Boss character.
Sasha goes on to say her biggest dream is to main event a WrestleMania, guaranteeing that it will happen. Coach asked who she thinks will be the breakout WWE star of the next year and she goes with Bayley, saying she will show the world why she’s the second best when she comes to RAW or SmackDown.
