Video: Sami Zayn Speaks After WWE NXT Takeover

– As noted, Sami Zayn wrestled a match against Tye Dillinger after WWE NXT “Takeover: London” today, to air next Wednesday night on the WWE Network.

WWE posted this post-match video of Zayn announcing his return to the crowd in London. The crowd does the “ole!” chant for Zayn before he speaks. He said he feels like the trend in his career has been dreams turning to nightmares when they’re coming true. He said it happened when he won the NXT Title and when he appeared on RAW to face John Cena. Sami added that tonight was a dream also and that trend was broken.

Sami gave props to the fans for being a hot crowd all night, saying everyone in the back also appreciates it. This caused a big “NXT” chant, encouraged by Sami. Sami thanked London and the other stops on the NXT UK tour. He said they would never be able to come to the UK without the rabid support of some of the best fans he’s ever had the pleasure working in front of. He teased more big events like this in 2016 and said a lot of great things are in store for himself in 2016 also.
