We haven’t seen Becky Lynch since the Nov. 21 episode of SmackDown LIVE where Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan launched a surprise backstage assault on “The Irish Lasskicker” as well as Naomi.
The angle was done to write Lynch’s character off television after she was cast in WWE Studios’ The Marine 6 with The Miz and Shawn Michaels. She could return as early as this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE as the former SmackDown Women’s Champion wrapped up filming her role on Thursday in London, England.
The director of the movie, James Nunn, had heavy praise for Lynch. In a tweet, Nunn said that he felt like he “won the lottery” with Becky and that she “knew exactly when to bring the pain, the humor, and the fierce!”
I feel like I won the lottery with @BeckyLynchWWE! Our leading lady knew exactly when to bring the pain, the humor, and the fierce! Total pro and v. hard worker. Miss Quinn, the privilege was ours xx #ThatsAWrap #Marine6 #LetsDoItAgain? pic.twitter.com/MYskJ1a1ZH

According to PWInsider.com, Lynch is being figured into creative plans on SmackDown LIVE for early January so she should be back on the show by then.
Lynch was announced for WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, which will stream live in the U.S. exclusively on Facebook on Tuesday nights beginning Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT.
