– After much back and forth, WWE has confirmed that The Undertaker will be working two dates on the current European tour – the April 19th SmackDown tapings in London and the April 20th live event in Newcastle, according to F4Wonline.com.
Taker had been booked for several dates on the tour, teaming with Kane in tag matches against The Wyatt Family, but he was pulled from all events except for the London and Newcastle shows. It was then reported that Taker was removed from the entire tour but now he’s back on the London and Newcastle events, teaming with Kane to face Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan.
Taker being pulled from dates on this tour added to the speculation that WrestleMania 32 may have been his last match. As noted, Taker told people at the WrestleMania 32 after party that his Hell In a Cell win over Shane McMahon was his last match. No word yet if Taker’s SmackDown appearance will be taped but it’s likely for the live crowd only.
