– The Brock Lesnar vs. Jon Jones UFC speculation continued after UFC 214 on Saturday night following Jones’ UFC Light Heavyweight Title win over Daniel Cormier. After the win, Jones called Lesnar out in the middle of the Octagon. UFC President Dana White later commented on the fight and said it’s fun to talk about but it’s not a reality. The WWE Universal Champion responded to the call-out with these comments to The Associated Press:
“Be careful what you wish for, young man,” Lesnar replied.
– On a related note, could Becky Lynch vs. new UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Christiane “Cyborg” Justino be in the works for the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view? Cyborg called Becky out on Twitter this weekend before beating Tonya Evinger for the vacant title at UFC 214 on Saturday night. Becky posted a video on Saturday night taunting Cyborg, which led to the UFC Champion tweeting the proposal to Triple H. You can see their tweets below:
