Triple H hosted a media conference call today to promote the WWE NXT “Takeover: The End” show tomorrow. Below are highlights:
* The call started late but Triple H mentioned how he loves doing these. He’s looking forward to the debut of Andrade “Cien” Almas and says he will be a big player in NXT
* He praised The Revival vs. American Alpha, Austin Aries vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka vs. Nia Jax. He also gave props to Samoa Joe and Finn Balor for carrying their feud for as long as it’s gone on
* He says “The End” has several meanings and those will be clear on Wednesday
* They are excited about The Cruiserweight Classic
* He believes the NXT roster will be different after the Brand Extension but that’s not finalized

* He talked about how cruiserweights are no longer just high-fliers, they’re technically skilled now as there’s been a shift from car crash style to better story-telling. He commented on how you lose the “wow factor” after just doing the acrobatic stuff for so long
* Eric Young and Bobby Roode are still having their contracts worked out. He is high on them both and hopes their deals work out
* Hideo Itami is still recovering but Triple H wants him at 100% before he comes back. He had issues with mobility and scar tissue
* He’s interested in doing a women’s tournament if timing and everything else is right
* Regarding Joe vs. Balor in a steel cage, he approached them with the idea and felt the time was right. He’s excited about the match as a fan
* The CWC has been a fun experience for him and he believes it has potential to be huge for the business
