– TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves started a lot of social media speculation on Friday night after Davey Richards announced that the two will no longer be able to take indie bookings after May 1st of this year. The message was re-tweeted by Eddie Edwards.
TNA announced in January 2015 and then again in May 2015 that The Wolves had re-signed deals with the company, believed to be for one more year. The speculation is that TNA may be re-structuring their contracts with new terms, or the duo may be signing with WWE NXT. You may remember that they were close to signing with WWE back in late 2013 and even appeared on NXT TV, losing to then-NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension.
We should have an update soon on what’s going on with The Wolves. Below is Davey’s tweet:
If anyone is looking to book @TheEddieEdwards and I please get at us. We cannot accept Indy bookings after May 1. Thanks!
