MLW Radio reported earlier today that former ROH star Moose, who has been on WWE’s radar as of late, signed with TNA. They later posted an update, seen below, saying Moose confirmed to them that TNA made an offer but he has not signed yet. Apparently ROH is also in the running for who he will sign with.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week that WWE backed off signing Moose due to a 2009 domestic incident with his ex-wife. That incident led to a one-game suspension during his NFL run. WWE reportedly told Moose not to worry, that it was just a timing issue and not a closed door. We noted before that WWE was “very squeamish” on signing talents that could bring controversy due to the recent incidents with Adam Rose and Jerry Lawler. Moose was originally expected to be at the WWE Performance Center in September
UDPATE: @MooseNation69 has informed us he has an offer from @IMPACTWRESTLING but has NOT signed as of yet. A decision will be made shortly.
