The Great Khali Reportedly Injured During Wrestling Event In India

– India.com reports that former WWE Superstar The Great Khali was injured at a wrestling event in Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Khali was admitted to the ICU at Brijlal Hospital and was to be under observation for 24 hours.

It was noted that Khali was suffering from head and back injuries.

No word yet if the injury is part of an angle but The Hindustan Times reported that Khali was participating in the first event of “The Great Khali Wrestling Show” at the Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium when he was injured by “foreign fighters” in a match. The three opponents reportedly used steel chairs on Khali during the match.
