Started her career as a manager and valet under the name Kara Slice ... Competed throughout the East Coast and eventually moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where she joined Ohio Valley Wrestling ... Made her debut as Cherry Pie, managing the The Throwbacks, Deuce and Domino ... Began wearing her trademark roller skates and 1950s-style skirts and sweaters ... Her services were involuntarily shifted to Shawn Spears and Cody Runnels based on the stipulations of a victory over Deuce and Domino ... Cherry seemed to have an eye for Spears, but it turned out the whole thing was a ruse, as Cherry double-crossed Spears and Runnels to help The Throwbacks win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship ... Managed Deuce and Domino to the WWE Tag Team Champinship in April 2007, but was more of a spectator with that team than a traditional manager, rarely interfering and frequently getting chastised by Deuce.

Broke away from Deuce and Domino in the spring of 2008 ... In her singles debut, she scored a big upset victory over Victoria, surprising her with a schoolgirl rollup as Victoria was preoccupied with Michelle McCool at ringside ... Took McCool as a mentor and rapidly improved and gained confidence as a wrestler ... On August 15, 2008, Cherry returned to her side of the tracks as WWE wished her well in her future endeavors.
