Steve Austin Speaks on Why He’s Not Hosting Shane McMahon Podcast for WWE

It was mentioned that Mick Foley will be conducting the next WWE Network podcast featuring Shane McMahon, and not Steve Austin. It was reported that Austin’s absence was the result of a prior commitment.

Austin addressed the issue this morning on the “Steve Austin Show: Unleashed.” He said he’s not hosting because he’s rehabbing from shoulder surgery he had to repair a torn rotator cuff, AJ joint and labral tear.

Austin said that he will begin working to restore his range of motion soon, but will be in a sling for the next three weeks at least. Austin also said that he was ready to travel to Baltimore for the interview but didn’t want to risk messing up the recent operation.
