Speculation on WWE Possibly Not Paying for Paige’s Upcoming Surgery

As previously reported, Paige will undergo neck surgery next Wednesday on October 19th. She noted via her interview with TMZ Sports that she’ll require 6-7 months to recover. PWInsider, however, reported that she’s expected out for six to nine months.

WWE doctors have noted in the past that they don’t believe Paige requires surgery, so it’ll be interesting to see if the company pays for the operation.

It was reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that Paige’s doctors said she did need the surgery and that was a big issue between the two sides. Meltzer added that WWE won’t pay for the surgery if they don’t think she needs it.
