– The WWE NXT “Takeover: Brooklyn” live special on August 22nd from the Barclays Center is close to being sold out as more tickets were released on Saturday afternoon. The event will draw more than 10,000 fans, easily making it the largest NXT event yet.

– For what it’s worth, WWE reportedly banned the name “Wade” a while back which is why King Barrett no longer uses it, according to Wrestling Observer Radio. There’s been speculation that Barrett may go back to the “Bad News” gimmick after WWE Battleground tonight as “The Crown” is on the line in his Kickoff Pre-show match against R-Truth.
