WWE will start its business of building to two separate pay-per-view events tonight on Raw from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The women’s roster will get ready for WWE Evolution on October 28 while the men are prepping for WWE Crown Jewel on November 2.
WWE has announced that Triple H and Shawn Michaels will address The Brothers of Destruction’ vicious assault at WWE Super Show-Down, as well as Trish Stratus making her return to Raw. Two rematches from WWE Super Show-Down are also scheduled for tonight.
Now, PWInsider is reporting on two interesting names who are backstage at the Allstate Arena.
Kurt Angle, who was Raw General Manager until Stephanie McMahon sent him on vacation the night after SummerSlam, is backstage. It’s rumored that WWE’s big idea heading into Survivor Series is a match pitting teams led by Angle and Baron Corbin with the control of Raw at stake, so we could see the build to that starting tonight.
Lita is also backstage. She will be wrestling Mickie James at Evolution and WWE has done nothing on television to build to their match, so that could change tonight.
