– We’ve noted how UFC President Dana White received a lot of backlash from wrestlers and wrestling fans on Twitter this week when he called wrestling “fake shit” while defending the UFC pay-per-view prices against WWE’s $9.99 price tag. This led to responses from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Bully Ray, Austin Aries, MVP and many others. Below are responses from some current WWE talents and more comments from White to wrestling fans:
Some call @UFC fake… IT IS… Fearless Artistry Kombat Evolved. 100%. @danawhite. https://t.co/B7RPpfqNwX

"Fake" was a poor word choice by @danawhite. @RondaRousey's tribute to Roddy is a heartfelt move from the most popular fighter in the world.

Hey @danawhite, come to the @WWEPerformCtr & see what we do EVERYDAY & tell me it's fake. Send your "ultimate" fighters too. How dare you.

(1/2) @danawhite, "fake" infuriates @WWE Superstars, Divas & fans because the injuries are real and happen more often than they do in @UFC.
— Joey Styles (@JoeyStyles) August 2, 2015
(2/2) Perhaps you could please tweet that @UFC, like boxing, costs more than @WWE because they are sports rather than sports entertainment.

@JennyF209 @MLPChristian69 every group has its weirdos and I deal with them all! This weekend is wrestling weirdos, next week something else
— Dana White (@danawhite) August 2, 2015
@4inJUSTweTRUST the wrestling fans don't bother me at all. Every week I have a different group on here chirpin about something. I love it
— Dana White (@danawhite) August 2, 2015
@MLPChristian69 I pissed off wrestling fans? I respect wrestling and the people who do it. I was just responding to an idiot. It was a joke
— Dana White (@danawhite) August 2, 2015
