Sean Waltman Denies Relapse After Being Arrested For Drug Possession

According to TMZ, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman was arrested at LAX over the weekend after cops say he tried to carry meth and marijuana through Customs.

Law enforcement sources say Waltman was flying out to a wrestling event in the United Kingdom when he was stopped at Customs and officials discovered the drugs.

Airport police were called to the scene and Waltman was arrested on the spot. He was transported to a nearby jail where he was booked for possession of a controlled substance.

During the process, officials noticed an outstanding warrant for Waltman stemming from a prior DUI arrest.

Bail was set at $35,000. He’s since been released.

TMZ reached out to Waltman’s rep, who said he is “fine.” No other details were provided.

Before the report came out this morning, Waltman denied that he had a relapse.

On Monday night, he appeared on The Tomorrow Show, where he is a regular guest, and discussed the situation with hosts Scheana Maria and Roxy Striar:

Waltman: Nope, and I wasn’t using anything… nothing. No relapse.

Marie: Clean, sober…

Waltman: Well, besides cannibus. That’s all I use.

Marie: Well, that’s legal. That’s okay, right?

Waltman: Well… not to the feds.

He also sent out this message on Twitter.

Waltman has struggled with substance abuse in the past. According to TMZ, he’s been arrested for drug possession “on multiple occasions.” He also told Steve Austin in a podcast interview that he “got real bad” on crystal meth when he moved to Los Angeles, California in the early 2000s.

Waltman was also in a prior relationship with Chyna — who died from drugs and alcohol last year after a battle with substance abuse.
