– According to a report by Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports on Wednesday, WrestleMania 35 will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This is the same location as WrestleMania 29 in April 2013, which saw John Cena defeat Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to win his record eleventh WWE Championship, as well as avenging his loss to The Rock at WrestleMania the year before.
While the event is taking place in New Jersey since that’s where MetLife Stadium is located, the event will be promoted as a New York event. This is what WWE did for WrestleMania 29.
Detroit, Michigan and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania were also considered as the host cities.
An official announcement should be made soon. Fox adds that the rumored date for WrestleMania 35 is April 7th, 2019.

On his WWE debut, former TNA President Dixie Carter said the following on Twitter.
Oh my sweet @RockstarSpud. So very proud…but OF COURSE I’ve seen this in you all along! 😉 Best #BritishBootCamp decision. Best memories as YOUR sidekick, not the other way around. Best @WWE decision. #205Live #SDLive https://t.co/AHwFVgzPmP
