Rosa Mendes returned to the ring over the weekend and actually picked up a pinfall victory for a change.
Appearing for MCW Wrestling last Saturday in Hampstead, Maryland, Mendes teamed with fellow former WWE star Adam Rose to nab a win over Gia Scott and Joe Keys.
Rosa worked for WWE for over 10 years, most notably managing Primo and Epico to the WWE Tag Team Championship in January 2012, and appearing as a cast member on Total Divas. She retired from wrestling in February 2017 — one year after giving birth to her first child.
Mendes hit the comeback trail in March as she has been training once a week at the MCW Pro Wrestling Training Center in Joppa, Maryland.

Since Rosa lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she would have to take a five-hour drive to reach the MCW Pro Wrestling Training Center. Once there, she spends four-plus hours participating in drills and taking bumps inside a wrestling ring along with 20-some students.
After the training session concludes, Mendes does her part in helping the students clean the facility, including mopping the floor. Tired and sore, she gets in her car and makes the drive back home, where she arrives in the wee hours of the morning.
She has plans to continue wrestling as she was back at the MCW Pro Wrestling Training Center on Tuesday.
