Ric Flair Talks About the WWE RAW Ending with Paige and Charlotte, Reid Flair Mention

– In regards to the controversial WWE RAW ending with Paige and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte, where Paige took a shot at Charlotte’s late brother Reid, Ric Flair revealed on his podcast this week that WWE did not contact him ahead of time and he did not know Reid would be mentioned. Flair said he cried when he heard.

Flair also noted that he didn’t want to say anything to hurt Charlotte’s status with the company as she’s still at a position in her career where she can’t refuse anything for fear of “rocking the boat.”

Flair said as a fan, he would not like the angle, and he feels it brought intensity to the angle but he still would not have done it. Flair said he’s not mad at WWE because he feels they have Charlotte’s best interests in mind.

Flair will be at Survivor Series on Sunday and said fans will forget about the bad angle when the two Divas put on a good match.
