WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair posted his first message on social media since his health scare earlier this month.
“Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were,” Flair wrote on Twitter. “Naitch WILL be back!”

Flair’s fiancée posted an update on his health on Monday — saying he is “doing very well” for a man who underwent emergency surgery and was fighting for his life just two weeks ago.
Wendy Barlow wrote on Facebook, “I wanted to update everyone on Ric’s progress as so many people have been reaching out and offering their Prayers and Support. He is doing very well for a man who has been through so much! He will begin Physical Therapy shortly and will be stronger than ever and back out enjoying all the fans sooner than you would think. I can honestly say I have witnessed a miracle.”
Dave Meltzer reported after Raw on Wrestling Observer Radio that Flair is no longer bedridden. It was noted that while he’s “out of the water,” he “still has a long way to go.”
