– Wizard World announced today that fans will be able to play the Super Smash Bros. video game against WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day during their appearance at the Portland Comic Con on February 19th, 20th and 21st.
– WWE stock was down 0.36% today, closing at $16.53 per share. Today’s high was $16.67 and the low was $16.15.
– There are incorrect reports going around the web saying AJ Styles will be debuting on the post-Royal Rumble RAW next Monday, instead of the Rumble itself, because WWE officials don’t believe he will get a reaction in the 30-man main event. The reports are being credited to Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com but he did not report this story. This does not mean AJ won’t be on next week’s RAW or the Rumble itself, but the report going around is not true. As of this writing, there is still no confirmation on exactly when AJ will make his WWE debut.
– Denny Burkholder of CBS Sports tweeted this retro photo of Paul Heyman today, showing that Heyman was voted one of the “Most Likely to Succeed” at Scarsdale, New York’s Edgemont High School in 1983. Also pictured in the photo is Mike Mellis, current Senior Vice President and General Counsel for MLB Advanced Media and Major League Baseball.
