The Rock’s “Rock The Troops” special on Spike this past Tuesday night drew 516,000 viewers and ranked #52 for the night on cable, drawing an 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The program also aired live on Comedy Central but viewership was not provided. The Comedy Central airing drew an 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo. Viacom aired “Rock The Troops” across 4 more networks on Tuesday night – VH1 with an 0.09 rating and 221,000 viewers for the #112 spot, MTV2 with an 0.04 rating and 72,000 viewers, CMT with an 0.03 rating and 84,000 viewers, MTV Classic with a 0 rating and 17,000 viewers.
Rock’s special for the Troops drew 910,000 live viewers on Tuesday night, not including the number from Comedy Central that was not provided. BET aired a replay of the show on Wednesday night and that drew 237,000 viewers for an 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo. The BET replay ranked #96 on the cable top 150 for Wednesday night.
WWE’s Tribute to The Troops drew 1.313 million viewers on the USA Network this past Wednesday night and ranked #3 for the night with an 0.46 rating in the 18-49 demographic, behind Vikings and the NBA on ESPN. The viewership is down from the 2015 Troops special, which also aired on a Wednesday night and drew 1.802 million viewers.
