Photo: Owen Hart WWE DVD Artwork Change Revealed

– We noted earlier this week via WrestlingDVDNetwork.com that the artwork for WWE’s “Owen: Hart of Gold” DVD and Blu-ray on Owen Hart may be changing before it’s released on December 8th.

WDN has revealed the new artwork and a large image of Owen is now being used, the change reportedly made due to image rights issues. WDN speculates that WWE originally avoided using an image of Owen as the focal point of the cover but they’ve since settled any outstanding legal issues. It’s rumored that the decision was made by top WWE officials as they wanted a cover ore befitting Owen. Below is the old art and the new art:
