– WWE announcer Scott Stanford, who also works for PIX11 in New York City, posted this video of his telephone interview with Paul Heyman last night. Heyman talks about the WWE Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar’s return and the NFL playoffs. When asked how Monday’s RAW ended with The Wyatt Family standing over Lesnar, Heyman says he can’t guarantee that Lesnar won’t get jumped by any of the 29 other competitors on Sunday but this time, they will be looking for it and anyone who gets in the way will be dealt with.
Heyman also gives props to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, saying he’s legit and as tough as they come. Heyman says he would predict Reigns to dominate the Rumble if Lesnar wasn’t in the match.
When asked about 2016 WWE Hall of Famer Sting and the legacy he’s leaving behind, Heyman says Sting really doesn’t leave a legacy in WWE but WWE has wisely looked outside of their own scope to acknowledge another promotion’s contributions to the business.
