At Survivor Series, WWE appeared to move past the controversial storyline they used last week on Raw to generate interest in the Divas Championship feud between Charlotte and Paige. Any mention of Reid Flair, Charlotte’s brother who died of an overdose, were scrubbed from the video package on her match against Paige. Charlotte retained the title after forcing Paige to tap out to the Figure Eight.
NXT Diva Billie Kay, who was live tweeting during the show, made an interesting comment on the bout: “This #DivasTitle match is BRUTAL!”
The tweet was quickly deleted, likely due to people interpreting as a potshot. Maybe it was? It definitely appeared that way. Here is a screenshot of her tweet.

Billie then wrote, “@MsCharlotteWWE retains after a BRUTAL #DivasTitle match!”

The general feeling online is that the match felt too long and failed to engage the crowd, so it’s entirely possible that Billie, an eight-year veteran who would know bad wrestling, was criticizing it in a sly manner.
