– WWE Vice President of Business Planning & Financial Analysis Joel Satin is leaving the company after a fifteen year career to take a job as Vice President of Brand Licensing for Kodak.
– ESPN host Amin Elhassin received a ton of heat in social media backlash for his reply to a video of Kevin Owens’ son Owen reacting to his father’s WWE Universal Title win. For those who missed it, Elhassin wrote in response to Owen’s excited reaction: “Until someone told him it was scripted.”
Cody Rhodes is calling for WWE to cut ties with both ESPN and TMZ over Elhassin’s remark, and tweeted the following today, reminding everyone how TMZ leaked audio of the 911 call his mother made when Dusty Rhodes needed to be hospitalized before passing away last year:
WWE
Cut ties w/TMZ-they ran my Mother's 911 call
Cut ties w/ESPN-they insulted a child
Have balls. "'Mainstream" ain't always worth it.

– There’s been a lot of speculation and confusion over the recent interactions between WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, especially after the angle appeared to be quickly dropped this week on SmackDown. PWInsider reports that while the first heated exchange on last week’s “Talking Smack” was scripted, as the two were scheduled to have a back & forth, WWE officials did not expect it to go in the direction it went, thanks to improvisation by The Miz.
