Eva Marie began to draw attention in 2013 as part of the E! reality series Total Divas, where cameras followed the charismatic and beautiful newcomer on her path to WWE stardom. Once she finally appeared in front of the live audience, Eva Marie wasted no time making an impression when she slapped WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler across the face.

After nearly two years wrestling on WWE’s main roster, Eva Marie showed up on the NXT brand in June 2015. Wanting to be part of the buzz surrounding the women’s division, Eva Marie rededicated herself to becoming the best professional wrestler possible. Despite her hard work, however, many fans failed to recognize her improving grappling skills. However, the criticism spurred Eva Marie to work even harder. With victories over Billie Kay, Carmella and Cassie, Eva Marie effectively proved her naysayers wrong.
