WWE filed a preliminary proxy statement on Tuesday (as you can see here) and two interesting tidbits regarding the return of Shane McMahon were revealed.

WWE also notes there is ‘no agreement’ between the company and Shane McMahon at this time.
There have been persistent rumors that the power struggle between Shane and The Authority is rooted in reality, but WWE has made sure to remind people it’s just a storyline.
The New York Post said last week, “A WWE spokesman advised against reading too much into Shane’s bid to run “Raw,” saying the son’s merely “playing a character on a TV show.”
