Chris Jericho can be very negative about hardcore crowds, which makes WrestleMania a tough time of year for him. This year, he got a win over AJ Styles on the grandest stage of them all, but he wasnโt too pleased with the crowd at Raw while competing in a WWE World Heavyweight Title No. 1 Contender’s Fatal Four Way Match against Styles, Cesaro and Kevin Owens.
On the latest edition of Talk is Jericho, Y2J discussed WrestleMania 32, working with Styles, and shared some information about the timeframe of his latest WWE run.
Was he happy with the crowd reaction at Raw?
The night after WrestleMania, all the jack offs seem to show up and like to chant their own things and they were doing it to an extent, but they werenโt doing it to us. And they shouldnโt [have]. It was a great match. Instead of chanting, โwe are awesomeโ and โbeach ball partyโ or whatever, they were chanting, โthis is wrestlingโ, โthis is awesomeโ, and all of that sort of thing. And they were right. They got a great show. And they want to boo the good guys and cheer for the bad guys and thatโs fine.
How much longer will Jericho be around for his latest run?
For all you jack offs that think you can predict what my future is, Iโm not going anywhere. Am I going to be here next week? Yeah. Am I going to be here one more month? Iโm not going to tell you. Youโre just going to have to wait and see.
