The past few days have been tumultuous for former WWE Champion and legend Hulk Hogan. The company quickly parted ways with Hogan and removed all mentions of him from its website and library amid allegations he unleashed a racial tirade in conversations recorded without his permission several years ago.
After much public backlash, Hogan would issue a public apology for his comments, claiming this was not the person who many know him to be. Many stars, like former nWo partner Kevin Nash, came to his side and supported his friend, while others attacked WWE for hypocritically removing someone for racist comments despite WWE chairman Vince McMahon himself uttered the “N-word” in an on-camera segment many years back. This prompted a statement from WWE, where it claimed the character was fictional.
But in the latest development, it appears Hogan has once again come under scrutiny for more comments he allegedly made. Per a report from Radar Online, Hogan unleashed homophobic words in the previously mentioned tapes.
An excerpt from the report is as followes:
“VH1 wanted me to do a big thing and go back to the house I grew up in,” Hulk says, discussing the Season Four finale of his show.
“So we knock on the door,” he continues, “and a big f*g lives there now!”
Undeterred, the 61-year-old continued with his disgusting homophobic bile. “This half-gay was enamored with Linda,” he sniffs, of his ex-wife.”
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, would go on to ask his friend Bubba the Love Sponge, the husband of the woman who taped the conversations with Hogan, not to tell Linda about what was going on between the three of them.
Also included in the report are additional comments he reportedly made about losing his mansion in a potential divorce.
