This was Riddle’s only appearance at the tapings. It should air on the WWE Network on October 31.
Once a member of UFC’s welterweight division, Riddle left mixed martial arts in 2014 to pursue a wrestling career. He turned into the breakout star of the independent ranks, capturing titles in North America and Europe, before signing with WWE over the summer.
WWE announced on August 18 that Riddle would be coming to NXT as he appeared in the crowd during TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. He made his in-ring debut on September 22, beating Fabian Aichner at a house show in Sanford, Florida. He’s also beaten Kassius Ohno, Dominik Dijakovic, Kona Reeves and Menzies in matches at house shows. He worked one tag team match at a house show two weeks ago, teaming with Johnny Gargano to defeat Adrian Jaoude and Cezar Bononi.
