Luke Harper Not Booked for Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Backstage Note on Randy Orton’s Status

– PWInsider has confirmed The Wrestling Observer’s report of Randy Orton suffering with a shoulder injury. There’s no word yet on how long Orton is scheduled to be out of action. As noted, he will have an MRI done soon to find out if he needs surgery.

– Luke Harper, who missed last night’s WWE RAW, is not scheduled for tonight’s SmackDown tapings in Austin, Texas. Harper did work the weekend tour of Mexico but PWInsider notes that he’s not injured.

A creative decision was made on Monday to replace Harper with Erick Rowan in The Wyatt Family on last night’s RAW but we don’t know if that’s a permanent replacement. We’ll keep you updated on Harper’s status.
