– Tonight’s WWE SmackDown opens up from Glasgow, Scotland with Mauro Ranallo, JBL, David Otunga and new SmackDown announcer Tom Phillips.
– We go to the ring and out comes WWE World Champion AJ Styles. He cuts a promo on Team SmackDown and Survivor Series.
AJ talks about being the one to keep everyone on the same page. He goes on until Baron Corbin interrupts. Randy Orton and The Wyatt Family appear at ringside next. They get on the apron when out comes Dean Ambrose to the stage. He introduces James Ellsworth and out he comes. AJ isn’t happy. They hit the ring and out comes Shane McMahon. He passes Corbin on the way down. Shane announces Ellsworth as the Team SmackDown mascot for Survivor Series. He also makes Orton, Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt vs. Corbin, Ambrose and Ellsworth for later tonight.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is backstage warming up for tonight’s title defense.
– Still to come, Breezango vs. The Vaudevillains in a Survivor Series qualifying match.
– Backstage segment with Corbin and Shane. Corbin isn’t interested in being in tonight’s main event. Shane books him in a match against Kalisto instead.
Survivor Series Qualifier: Tyler Breeze and Fandango vs. The Vaudevillains
We go to the ring and Simon Gotch waits with Aiden English as Breezango makes their way out. This is for the final Team SmackDown spot at Survivor Series.
The finish sees Fandango hit a Falcon Arrow on English for the win.
Winners: Breezango
– Still to come, Becky vs. Bliss.
Naomi vs. Natalya
Back to the ring and Natalya waits while Nikki Bella is out for commentary. Naomi is out next.
Carmella makes her way out during the match and taunts Nikki at ringside. Natalya goes to break things up with her whistle but Nikki knocks Natalya down and drops Carmella. Natalya goes back in the ring but Naomi rolls her up for the win.
Winner: Naomi
– After the match, Nikki and Naomi leave together and celebrate.
– Bliss is shown backstage warming up. Back to commercial.
– Backstage segment with Ambrose and Ellsworth. Ellsworth believes they can win the main event without Corbin, just he and Ambrose together. Daniel Bryan walks up and reveals that he’s put Kane in the match as their partner. Ellsworth turns around and Kane is there. Kane tells him not to tag in tonight.
Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto
Corbin attacks Kalisto as he makes his way to the ring. Corbin lays Kalisto out and launches him into the turnbuckles, then to the floor. Corbin goes on and slips on the apron, injuring his knee. Kalisto dropkicks his knee into the ring steps as referees hold him back while others check on Corbin in the ring. Kalisto goes back up and Frogsplashes Corbin’s leg. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and we get a promo for Bliss vs. Lynch. Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring.
– Backstage segment with Shane and Bryan. Corbin is off Survivor Series due to an injury. Shane lets Bryan find a replacement as he goes to watch the main event.
SmackDown Women’s Title Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch
SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way out as Bliss waits in the ring. Back and forth to start. Bliss turns it around out of the corner and tosses Becky to the floor, the into the ring steps.
The finish sees Becky get the Disarm-Her applied. Bliss taps but her feet are on the ropes. The referee doesn’t see it and Becky retains.
Winner: Becky Lynch
– Backstage segment with Shane and Bryan talking Survivor Series. The Miz and Maryse walk in and aren’t happy about Dolph Ziggler facing a RAW Superstar at Survivor Series. Bryan reveals that The Brian Kendrick will defend the WWE Cruiserweight Title against SmackDown’s Kalisto at Survivor Series and if Kalisto wins, the division moves to the blue brand. Bryan then offers The Miz his rematch against Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title on next week’s 900th SmackDown and Maryse accepts.
– Backstage segment with Renee Young talking to Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler about defending against The Miz next week. Ziggler says he will defeat Miz and then send Sami Zayn packing to RAW.
Kane, Dean Ambrose and James Ellsworth vs. Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Fans were chanting for Ellsworth early on as most of the match saw Kane get beat around. Ambrose gets a hot tag and unloads on Harper and Wyatt, then diving out onto Orton. Ambrose hits a dive on Orton and Wyatt next. Ambrose avoids Sister Abigail but they end up colliding with clotheslines.
The finish sees Ellsworth tag himself in and go for No Chin Music but get hit with Sister Abigail instead. Wyatt covers for the pin.
Winners: The Wyatt Family
– After the match, Team SmackDown ends up arguing in the ring until Shane McMahon runs out. Daniel Bryan is out next. Bryan goes on to reveal that Shane will be Corbin’s replacement as the final member of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. Shane accepts to end SmackDown.
