– Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a video looking back at Kevin Owens winning the WWE Universal Title last week, only to be confronted by Roman Reigns. We go to the normal RAW opening video.
– We’re live from Baltimore with Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. They hype tonight’s main event with Clash of Champions implications.
– We go to the ring and RAW General Manager Mick Foley has a mic. He welcomes us to RAW.
Foley hypes Clash of Champions and congratulates SmackDown on crowning their first-ever Women’s Champion last night at Backlash in Becky Lynch. Foley still believes they have the best women’s action in WWE and brings out the RAW Women’s Champion. Out comes Charlotte and Dana Brooke. We see what happened last week and this leads to Charlotte running Dana down. Charlotte says the loss to Bayley last week was all Dana’s fault. She says Dana also made a fool of herself last week when she tapped to Sasha Banks. Charlotte tells Dana to apologize or their friendship and her mentorship is over. Dana says she’s sorry and Charlotte agrees. Foley didn’t call them out for their own drama, he wants to talk about Clash of Champions. The music interrupts and out comes Sasha Banks to interrupt.
Sasha says she’s the face of the division and the one who will take the title back in two weeks. There appears to be some confusion or awkward silence but out comes Bayley to interrupt. Bayley would love to see Sasha wrestle for the title but maybe she’s the one who deserves a title shot after her win last week. Sasha says they go way back to WWE NXT and Bayley had her back at Battleground but when it comes to the title, she has no friends. Sasha goes on and tells Bayley to get to the back of the line. Charlotte interrupts them and has words with Sasha. Sasha is ready to fight. Charlotte reminds everyone that she’s the only champion in the ring. Foley says Sasha was supposed to get her rematch at Clash but now he’s having second thoughts. More mic work from Charlotte. Dana proposes a Best of 7 Series. Charlotte threatens to slap the taste out of her mouth if she speaks again tonight. Dana doesn’t look happy. Foley announces Sasha vs. Bayley for tonight with the winner facing Charlotte at Clash. Dana slaps Charlotte out of nowhere. A “yes!” chant breaks out. Foley puts Dana in the match, making it a Triple Threat. That match is next. Foley’s music hits as Charlotte and Dana have words. Charlotte leaves the ring holding her face as we go to commercial.
Triple Threat for the #1 Contendership: Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley
Back from the break and Charlotte is on commentary. Dana gets the upperhand early on but Sasha turns it around in the corner with kicks. Bayley is down on the floor after a kick from Dana. Sasha works Dana over and covers for a 2 count. Sasha gets dumped on the floor and lands hard. Bayley runs in and rolls Dana up for 2. Bayley goes to work on Dana now.
Bayley takes control and keeps Dana grounded now. Sasha comes back in and they take Dana out, sending her to the floor. Sasha and Bayley face off in the ring as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Dana is in control of Bayley. Sasha comes back in and takes over, unloading on Dana. Sasha ends up hitting the double knees in the corner on Dana as Bayley rolls out of the way. Sasha with a 2 count on Dana. Bayley hits a crossbody from the top to Sasha for a 2 count as Dana breaks the pin. Dana with a double clothesline. Dana covers for 2 counts on both opponents.
More back and forth with all three now. Sasha sells the back injury and has her back taped up. Sasha unloads on Dana. Sasha catches a kick and kicks Dana in the face. Dana blocks the Backstabber. More back and forth. Sasha hits the Backstabber and applies the Banks Statement but Bayley breaks it. Bayley with the Bayley-to-Belly on Dana but Sasha breaks the pin. Sasha pins Bayley for the win, keeping her singles match at Clash of Champions.

– After the match, Charlotte stands up at the announce table and stares Sasha down.

– Back from the break and Dana is walking backstage. She sees Charlotte and apologizes. Charlotte yells at her to shut up and get her bags. Dana follows.
– The Shining Stars are backstage trying to sell R-Truth on a trip to Puerto Rico. It looks like Truth is ready to purchase a travel package but Goldust comes up and ushers him away. Primo and Epico turn around to Enzo Amore and Big Cass. It sounds like Enzo will wrestle Primo later tonight.
– Tom Phillips is backstage with WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who takes shots at Roman Reigns and Mick Foley. Owens says it will not be a Triple Threat at Clash because he’s going to beat Reigns tonight, then walk out of Clash with the title. Owens walks off and Chris Jericho appears. Jericho calls Tom a hack journalist and says Foley pulled Owens off The Highlight Reel tonight, leaving him without a guest. Jericho is smarter than Foley and found a guest – Sami Zayn. Jericho’s going to let everyone know who the real Sami is.
Bo Dallas vs.
We go to the ring and out comes Bo Dallas. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Bo is in the ring with his opponent, a local wrestler named Brandon Scott. Bo cuts an intense promo on believing in himself, which is basically a poem. The bell rings and Bo unloads. He gets sent tot he floor and comes back in to Scott nailing a dropkick and more offense. Bo catches him with a big slam and ends up getting the win.
Winner: Bo Dallas
– After the match, Bo grabs his “Bo-lieve In Bo” sign and stands tall.
– Still to come, Sami Zayn on The Highlight Reel.
– Back from the break and out comes Chris Jericho for the Highlight Reel. He praises WWE Universal Champion and best friend Kevin Owens, saying Tom Cruise will probably play him in the movie about his life. Jericho says Foley pulled Owens from his show tonight so he went and got Owens’ ex-best friend. Jericho calls Sami the lowest of the low and introduces him. Out comes Sami.
The segment is words between Sami and Jericho, who starts in as soon as Sami hits the ring. Sami ends up calling Jericho nothing but Owens’ bitch. Jericho finally nails Sami and drops him with a Codebreaker. Jericho walks off.

Best of 7 Series – Match #5: Sheamus vs. Cesaro
We go to the ring and out first comes Cesaro. We see video from his win on Wednesday night in London, which put the series at 3-1. Sheamus is out next.
Cesaro goes for an early Sharpshooter attempt but Sheamus scrambles and goes tot he floor for a breather. Cesaro ends up leveling Sheamus off the apron for a pop. Cesaro with a running uppercut on the floor. Cesaro brings it back in for a 2 count. We go to commercial.
More back and forth after the commercial. Sheamus with a senton for a 2 count. Sheamus with the Cloverleaf but no luck there either. Cesaro ends up hitting the corkscrew uppercut for a 2 count. Cesaro can’t get the Neutralizer off. More back and forth, leading to the Sharpshooter from Cesaro. Sheamus makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Cesaro goes for the Cesaro Swing but only gets one rotation. Sheamus with a 2 count. Sheamus with the Irish Curse backbreaker for another 2 count. Sheamus goes for the Celtic Cross but Cesaro lands on his feet. Cesaro pins Sheamus and uses the bottom rope for leverage to get the win. The series is now at 3-2.
Winner: Cesaro
– After the match, Sheamus is upset as Cesaro celebrates with fans at ringside. We get replays.
– Foley is backstage with Seth Rollins. Rollins doesn’t understand why Roman Reigns has a chance at getting in the Clash of Champions match. Rollins says there’s no comparison between he and Reigns, he’s the man and Reigns isn’t. Foley mentions that Stephanie McMahon is not here tonight because she’s in Singapore speaking at a conference. Rollins threatens to take actions into his own hands. Foley gets upset at Rollins questioning his integrity and doesn’t want him interfering in the main event. Rollins says Foley is just a fool if he keeps supporting Stephanie’s decisions. He walks off and we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and Jericho vs. Zayn is announced for Clash.
Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax
We go to the ring and out comes Alicia Fox first. We see her backstage segment with Nia Jax backstage last week. Nia is backstage with Tom Phillips right now and says she’s going to beat the crap out of Fox.
They go at it to start. They end up on the floor and Alicia looks to take control but Nia rams her back. Nia ragdolls Alicia and sends her into the barriers a few times. Nia asks Alicia if she wants to get crazy and then tosses her. Nia charges and sends Alicia through the barrier with a big spear. Officials check on Fox as Nia looks on before leaving.
Cesaro vs. Sheamus Series Update, AJ Styles to Speak on WWE SmackDown (Video), Xavier Woods
– Back from the break and we see what just happened to Fox. Cole says she was helped out of the arena and is being evaluated.
– We go to the ring and out come WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day.
Kofi Kingston apologizes for the “Old Day” segment Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson put on last week. The segment leads to Gallows and Anderson coming out with a few words before we get a SummerSlam non-title match. Back to commercial.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston
Back from the break and Kofi is going at it with Anderson as Big E looks on. Kofi nails a dropkick for a 2 count. Woods comes in and takes control. Kofi tags back in for some double teaming. Kofi comes off the top with a stomp for a 2 count.
Gallows and Anderson take control after Gallows come in. They beat on Kofi for a while until Woods gets a hot tag and unloads on Anderson. Gallows tries to come in but Woods nails a knee. Woods with the rolling clothesline for a 2 count on Anderson. Anderson blocks a suplex and trades shots with Woods now. Woods unloads but eats an uppercut. Woods nails a nice DDT and goes to the top. Woods nails a big elbow drop but Gallows breaks the pin. Kofi springboards in but Gallows kicks him out of the air. Woods superkicks Gallows’ knee. Anderson takes out Woods. They hit Magic Killer on Woods for the non-title win.
Winners: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
– After the match, Gallows and Anderson stand tall and Kofi comes in to check on Woods as we get replays. Gallows and Anderson look on from the stage as The New Day recovers in the ring.
– Roman Reigns is backstage as Tom Phillips approaches him for comments. Reigns is focused on making it to Clash of Champions but has to kick Owens’ ass first. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and the announcers hype the cruiserweights coming to RAW next week and Wednesday’s Cruiserweight Classic finals.
Jinder Mahal vs. Jack Swagger
Back to the ring and out comes Jinder Mahal. He cuts a promo on how he found inner peace and learn to let go of hatred and rage while he was away from WWE. He wants to share peace with the WWE Universe. Jack Swagger is out next to a pop.
The bell rings and Jinder drops to his knees in peace but he just suckers Swagger in for a cheap shot. Mahal beats Swagger down and unloads. Mahal keeps control until Swagger goes to the floor for a breather and he follows. Swagger fights back and brings it back in the ring but Mahal kicks him. Mahal with a running knee for a 2 count. Mahal keeps control and has Swagger grounded now. Swagger manages a big backdrop. Jinder misses in the corner and Swagger starts making a comeback. Swagger slams Jinder and runs the ropes but misses a clothesline. Jinder runs into an elbow. Swagger drops Jinder and goes for a Swagger Bomb but it’s blocked. Jinder drops Swagger for the win.
Winner: Jinder Mahal
– We see Enzo Amore and Big Cass backstage walking. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Phillips catches up with Swagger backstage. Phillips mentions Swagger’s RAW contract expiring soon and Swagger just stares at him before walking off.
Enzo Amore vs. Epico
We go to the ring and out comes Enzo Amore and Big Cass with mics. The Shining Stars are out next.
Back and forth match that sees Epico get the win with a roll-up after an assist from Primo.
Winner: Epico
– After the match, The Shining Stars leave as Enzo looks shocked in the ring.
– Still to come, Owens vs. Reigns. Back to commercial.
– Backstage segment with Owens and Rollins that ends with Owens taunting Rollins and laughing. Mick Foley walks up and warns Rollins not to interfere in the main event.
Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens
We go to the ring and our first comes Roman Reigns. If he wins, he gets put into the main event at Clash of Champions. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is out next for this non-title match.
Back from the break and Owens goes to the floor but reigns follows. Reigns goes to work on Owens and brings him back in the ring. Owens stomps away and plays to the crowd for a mixed reactions. Owens keeps control and drops Reigns with an elbow for a 2 count. Reigns fights back and kicks Owens. Owens dodges a shot and rolls to the floor for a breather. Reigns kicks Owens through the ropes and comes out. Reigns whips Owens into the barrier. Owens shoves Reigns into a barrier now. Owens rocks Reigns and goes back in the ring. Reigns follows and nails a right hand. Owens comes back and clubs Reigns from behind. Owens with the senton for a 2 count.
Owens keeps control and has Reigns grounded now. Reigns manages to fight up and slam Owens. Reigns looks to make a comeback now. Owens rolls to the floor but Reigns follows. Owens counters and sends Reigns flying into the ring post. Reigns goes down and Owens returns to the ring as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Owens has Reigns in a headlock for several minutes. Reigns fights up and out but runs into the ring post as Owens moves. Reigns goes to the floor and Owens sends him into the barrier, then the steel steps. Owens poses on the ramp but is attacked from behind by Seth Rollins. The bell rings.
Winner by DQ: Kevin Owens
– After the bell, Rollins continues beating on Owens at ringside. Officials, including Fit Finlay and Adam Pearce, come out to break it up. Foley gets in Rollins’ face and he’s furious. Foley says now they’ve got to talk backstage. Foley orders the match to be re-started. Owens goes to work on Reigns and sends him back into the steps. Owens brings it back in the ring now.
Owens and Reigns trade shots in the middle of the ring now. Reigns levels Owens. Reigns with big shots in the corner as fans count along. Owens ducks a big boot. Reigns catches a superkick and hits a Samoan Drop for a 2 count. More back and forth. Reigns takes Owens up for a superplex but Owens fights him. Owens bites Reigns under his arm but the referee doesn’t see it. Reigns jumps up and stops a Frogsplash. Reigns climbs back up for a superplex but Owens counters and drives Reigns to the mat for a close 2 count.
Owens goes to the top for the Frogsplash and hits it for a 2 count. Owens with a kick and some trash talking, telling Reigns to stay down. Reigns gets upset and rocks Owens. Owens nails a superkick. Owens mocks Reigns and misses the corner cannonball. Reigns calls for the spear but runs into a knee. Reigns nails a Superman punch for a close 2 count. They go back to the floor and Reigns nails a Drive By. They come back in and Owens connects with two kicks. Owens hits the corner cannonball and another. Reigns blocks the pop-up powerbomb and rolls Owens up, turning that into a sitdown powerbomb for a close 2 count. WWE United States Champion Rusev runs down to the apron but Reigns nails a Superman punch. Owens takes advantage and hits the pop-up powerbomb for the win.
Winner: Kevin Owens
– After the bell, Owens and Reigns recover as we go to replays. Owens takes his title to the ramp and brags. Rusev waits in the ring as Reigns tries to get up. Rusev floors Reigns with a big kick to the face as he tries to get up. Rusev beats on Reigns as we see Lana looking on from the ramp with the title. She points and Rusev stomps on Reigns, then applies The Accolade. RAW goes off the air with Rusev standing tall over Reigns.
