– Bill Goldberg is shown walking backstage to the arena.
Goldberg thanks everyone for giving him the chance to be Goldberg again. He thanks his wife and his son. He says he came, he fought and he conquered The Beast Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Goldberg says Stephanie McMahon asked him backstage if he had one more title run in him. Goldberg says he does and says he will be in the Royal Rumble. Goldberg says everyone is next in the Rumble. He drops the mic and leaves.
– We see Cesaro, Sheamus and The New Day backstage arguing.
RAW Tag Team Title Match: Cesaro and Sheamus vs. The New Day
Back from the break and RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day are out first. They cut promos on how they will pass Demolition’s record soon. Cesaro and Sheamus are out next.
Back and forth to start. We go back to commercial after Kofi Kingston gets sent into the ring post.
Back from the break and Kofi nails a big dropkick on Sheamus. Sheamus decks Big E and gets another 2 count on Kofi. Sheamus goes for the forearms on the apron and hits them as Xavier Woods looks on. Sheamus goes on and accidentally knocks Cesaro off the apron. Big E tags in and nails a big suplex on Sheamus, and another, and a third. Cesaro comes in but gets dumped back out. Kofi leaps off the steps and takes him out. Big E with the splash on Sheamus for a 2 count.
Sheamus avoids the Big Ending and hits White Noise for another 2 count. Cesaro comes in and hits the uppercut train on Kofi. Kofi stops it with a kick. Cesaro catches Kofi in mid-air for a big backbreaker. Kofi kicks out at 2. Kofi hits the SOS but Cesaro kicks out at 2. Kofi goes for the Boom Drop and nails it. Cesaro blocks Trouble In Paradise and hits the Cesaro Swing for a pop. Cesaro with the Sharpshooter now. Kofi goes for the bottom rope and Big E’s hand but Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Big E on the floor. Kofi taps but Woods is distracting the referee on the apron. Fans boo. Kofi takes advantage of a distracted Cesaro and rolls him up for 2.
Winners: The New Day
– After the match, The New Day head to the ramp with their titles as Cesaro and Sheamus stand in the ring. We go to replays.
– Charly Caruso is backstage with Chris Jericho for his reaction to what happened last night. Jericho says Team RAW fell apart when The List was used as a weapon, when his deepest thoughts were strewn all over the ring. Jericho will tell the world who is to blame on The Highlight Reel later tonight.
– Still to come, RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Enzo Amore is shown backstage trying to get back into the locker room. Apparently Big Cass has locked him out after a shower. Enzo turns around and he’s naked but they have blurred his lower region. Enzo walks around naked and encounters The Shining Stars, then Titus O’Neil, then Lana. Lana asks how she’s doing and Rusev walks up. He’s furious. Cass appears next and asks if there’s a problem. This leads to some comedy and some arguing. Rusev tells Enzo to get some clothes on and meet him in the ring. Lana and Rusev leave. Cass then leaves and Enzo is left standing there, still naked.
– Mick Foley and Stephanie are backstage talking when Sami Zayn walks in. Foley says he’s a big believer in Sami but he didn’t bring the Intercontinental Title to RAW and there must be repercussions for failure. Foley makes Sami vs. Braun Strowman for tonight. Stephanie wishes Sami good luck and he leaves.
Cedric Alexander vs. Ariya Daivari
We go to the ring and out comes Cedric Alexander. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Ariya Daivari is out next. He cuts a heel promo and says Canadians are no better than Americans. The match starts and Cedric nails a dropkick. Back and forth now. Daivari drops Cedric for a 2 count and then keeps him grounded.
Cedric tries to springboard in but Daivari takes his leg out and Cedric lands bad. Daivari with another 2 count. Daivari keeps control and hits a big clothesline for another 2 count. Daivari runs into an elbow. Cedric unloads and make a comeback now. Cedric drops Daivari with a nice kick. Daivari dumps Cedric to the apron but he springboards back in and takes him down with a flying clothesline.
They trade counters and Cedric hits the Lumbar Check for the win.
Winner: Cedric Alexander
– After the match, Alexander stands tall as we go to replays. Cedric celebrates as the announcers hype 205 Live.
– Chris Jericho is backstage and he doesn’t look happy. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and out comes Chris Jericho for another edition of The Highlight Reel.
Jericho cuts a promo on Team RAW losing at Survivor Series, calling it a travesty. Jericho is about to reveal who’s to blame for the loss but the music hits and out comes WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens to interrupt.
Owens says he actually knows who is to blame and that’s why he came out. He asks if Jericho minds if he uses the JeriTron to show us. They have some words over the actual name of the screen. Owens shows us Jericho about to get hit by a Styles Clash during the match but Owens made the save, hitting WWE World Champion AJ Styles with The List. Owens says he saved Jericho because they are best friends. Jericho wonders if Owens is really his best friend, because he would know how much The List means to Jericho and wouldn’t use it as a weapon Jericho goes on about The List and Owens asks who cares? Jericho says he cares, it means everything to him. They argue and Owens says it’s a waste of their friendship. They stare each other down. Jericho says if that’s how Owens really feels, maybe they don’t have much of a friendship to begin with. Jericho says Owens is never there when he needs his help, week after week. Jericho says he’s finished with this conversation and finished with Kevin Owens. Jericho goes to leave but Owens turns him around. Owens is going to tell us who’s to blame…
Jericho and Owens yell out, “Roman Reigns!” at the same time and the crowd pops. They hug each other as a “yes!” chant breaks out.
A “Roman sucks” chant starts. Jericho and Owens both know they wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize the friendship. They start knocking Reigns for the Survivor Series loss now. Owens starts blaming Seth Rollins next. The music hits and out comes Rollins to a pop. Rollins reminds us he was promised certain opportunities by being on Team RAW last night and now he wants a title shot against Owens tonight. The crowd pops. Another “yes!” chant starts. Owens says the guy who used to do that chant is no longer relevant so fans can stop. This goes on until Rollins attacks both men. They beat him down. The music hits and out comes Roman Reigns to boos. Reigns takes Jericho out. Rollins and Reigns double team Owens. Jericho comes back in and avoids a Pedigree but eats a Superman punch. Jericho rolls to the floor. The music hits and out comes RAW General Manager Mick Foley next. Foley says Rollins will get his title shot now and both Jericho and Reigns will be banned from ringside. It will be a No DQ match. Owens isn’t happy but the crowd is and so is Rollins.
– We get a look back at the opening segment with Goldberg.
– Still to come, Charlotte Flair and a Triple Threat to crown a new #1 contender to the Cruiserweight Title.
– Enzo and Cass are backstage walking. Back to commercial.
Rusev vs. Enzo Amore
Back from the break and Lana is in the ring to introduce her husband Rusev. The Canadian fans start booing her as she says “And now America…” Enzo Amore and Big Cass are out next with mics. Enzo says Lana got a freebie earlier but the next time she wants to see him naked, she’ll have to hack his phone like the rest of Russia. Cass makes a “SAWFT” joke about Rusev with no pants on. The bell hits and Rusev unloads on Enzo.
Rusev misses in the corner and gets rolled up for 2. Rusev floors Enzo with a kick. Rusev stomps on Enzo’s back and applies The Accolade, forcing him to look at Cass. Enzo taps for the win.
Winner: Rusev
– After the bell, Rusev tries to keep the hold locked but Cass runs in and Rusev retreats to the floor as his music hits. Cass stares Rusev down.

#1 Contenders Match: Golden Truth vs. The Club
Back from the break and out comes Goldust and R-Truth. The winners will face RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day on next week’s RAW from Charlotte, NC. JoJo does the introductions as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are out next.
Anderson and Goldust go at it to start. Truth comes in with a big hip toss. More back and forth. Goldust eventually gets a hot tag and unloads on Anderson. The finish sees Truth clothesline Gallows to the floor but he also tumbles out. Goldust boots Anderson and goes to the top. Gallows drops Truth but gets kicked away by Goldust. They take advantage and Goldust gets kicked to the mat, then hit with a Magic Killer for the win.
Winners and New #1 Contenders: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
– Braun Strowman is shown backstage walking to the ring. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and we get more hype from Survivor Series.
Braun Strowman vs. Sami Zayn
We go to the ring and out comes Sami Zayn. He makes it to ringside but Braun Strowman runs down and lays him out. Braun beats Sami around ringside now. Fans sing Sami’s theme as Braun launches him into the ring. The referee backs him off and checks on Sami.
The bell rings and Braun launches himself into Sami in the corner. Braun keeps control and hits a big running clothesline in the corner. Braun yells about being a monster. Braun rips Sami’s shirt off and elbows him in the corner. Braun charges but runs into a boot twice. Sami fights back with rights and lefts but Braun blocks them. Sami staggers Braun with strikes off the ropes but Braun levels him with one shot.
Sami is laid out as Braun goes to move him. The referee backs Braun off and checks on Sami. Braun grabs Sami and levels him with a big clothesline. Sami stumbles around after another big shot from Braun. Braun rocks him with knees now. Braun keeps control and continues to pummel Sami. The referee backs Braun off and checks on Sami again. Braun takes Sami to the top and turns him upside down. Foley comes out and tells the referee to stop the match, to ring the bell.
Winner: Braun Strowman
– Foley says the match is over because Sami can’t defend himself. JoJo makes the announcement and it gets a mixed reaction. Braun’s music hits as Sami tries to recover. We go to replays. Sami has rolled out to the floor now. Braun stares down at him before leaving.

– Back from the break and we get a vignette for Emma’s return as Emmalina, premiering soon.
– We go to the ring and out comes RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair with Dana Brooke.
Charlotte knocks Bayley and the rest of Team RAW, calling them peasants. She also disses hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, saying she’s better than him. The music hits and out come Sasha Banks to a pop. Sasha says she’s still owed her rematch from Hell In a Cell and she wants it right now. Charlotte asks Sasha what she thinks about them going at it one more time. Charlotte says she’s on but it won’t be happening tonight. Fans boo. Charlotte says RAW will take place from Charlotte, NC next week. She beat Sasha in Sasha’s hometown and will beat her in hers next week. The music hits and out comes Nia Jax.
Nia says she’s not here for Charlotte. She steps up on the apron and says she’s here for Sasha. Nia knocks Sasha for not being dominant at Survivor Series. She says Sasha is an over-rated, purple-headed Barbie doll. Sasha says when she gets her title back, she will show Nia how over-rated she can be. Charlotte eggs things on. Nia says Sasha will learn she’s not The Boss when she stands next to Nia. Sasha decks Dana for running her mouth. Nia plants Sasha into the corner and splashes her. Charlotte gets a cheap shot in while Nia holds Sasha. Bayley’s music hits and out she comes to a pop. Sasha is tossed out of the ring at Bayley’s feet. Bayley gets on the apron but Nia knocks her off. We go to commercial as the two sides stare each other down.
Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Charlotte
Back from the break and Foley has made a tag match. Charlotte and Bayley go at it. Sasha comes in and keeps control. Bayley comes back in but so does Nia. She floors Bayley and keeps control for a 2 count. Charlotte comes back in and keeps Bayley down as Dana looks on from ringside. Charlotte with a cheap shot on Sasha.
Nia comes back in and ragdolls Bayley. Bayley eventually moves out of the way and Nia hits the mat. Charlotte comes back in and stops a tag. Bayley counters with a monkey flip. Sasha gets the hot tag and unloads on Charlotte, coming off the top with a crossbody. Sasha keeps control and covers for a 2 count as Nia breaks it. Bayley comes in but Nia grabs them both by the throat. They fight her off and hit a double suplex. Charlotte rolls Sasha up for 2. Charlotte blocks the Banks Statement but eventually gets locked in it and taps out.
Winners: Bayley and Sasha Banks
– After the match, Bayley and Sasha celebrate as we go to replays.
– We get another look at Goldberg’s Royal Rumble announcement from the opening segment.
– Charly is backstage with Seth Rollins for his comments on tonight’s main event. Rollins says the best part is Chris Jericho being banned from ringside. Rollins says the title is meant for the best of the best and he’s not taking anything away from Kevin Owens but everyone knows when it’s Rollins vs. anyone else one-on-one, he’s the man. Rollins says everything comes full circle tonight when he reclaims RAW and takes the title. Rollins walks off.
– We go to the ring and out comes WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick for commentary. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and the announcers lead us to a video package on The Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection to promote Disney’s “Moana” with The Rock, which hits theaters this Wednesday.
#1 Contenders Triple Threat: Noam Dar vs. TJ Perkins vs. Rich Swann
Back to the ring and out comes Rich Swann first. The winner of this will face Kendrick on the 205 Live premiere next Tuesday night. Noam Dar is out next, followed by TJ Perkins.
Lots of back and forth to start. Swann and Dar go at it. Swann nails a dropkick and Dar rolls to the floor. Perkins and Swann go at it now. They trade shots in the corner. Perkins gets the upperhand as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Perkins is still in control of Swann. Dar comes back in now and works on Swann and his leg. Dar hits a big uppercut. Perkins with a big shot to Dar’s jaw. Dar blocks a Detonation Kick and applies an ankle lock. Swann misses a kick to Dar but follows up with another that connects. Swann nails Perkins now. Perkins gets the knee bar applied but Dar breaks it.
Dar with the corner dropkick on Perkins. Perkins ends up getting the knee bar applied on Dar next. Swann splashes Perkins with Rolling Thunder. Swann with a sick kick to Perkins’ head for the pin.
Winner and New #1 Contender: Rich Swann
– After the match, Swann celebrates as Kendrick looks on from commentary.
– Charly is backstage with Kevin Owens. Owens rips on Seth Rollins for his performance at Survivor Series. Owens says the reward Rollins got for joining Team RAW, the title shot, will also be his punishment for failing. Owens says it doesn’t get any bigger than their match tonight and there must be a winner and his name will be… Kevin Owens. Owens accidentally called Charly “Renee” at the end of his promo. He walks off and we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and we get a WWE Shop Christmas promo from Enzo and Cass to hype Black Friday.
No DQ Match for the WWE Universal Title: Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens
We go to the ring and out first comes WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Seth Rollins is out next. We get formal ring introductions from JoJo.
The bell rings and Owens goes under the ring but Rollins brings the fight to the floor. They come back in and Rollins goes for the springboard knee. Rollins covers for a 2 count. Rollins brings a table into the ring and fans pop. Owens cuts him off and nails a powerbomb for a 2 count. Owens keeps control of Rollins as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Owens covers for a 2 count after a DDT during the commercial. Owens uses a chair on Rollins now. Owens keeps control and mounts Rollins with strikes and some trash talking. Rollins tries to make a comeback and hits Slingblade. Owens gets sent over the top rope. Rollins runs the ropes and nails a dive. Rollins brings it back in and goes to work. Rollins stands the chair up and jumps off it, nailing Owens in the corner. Rollins drops Owens face first into the chair for a 2 count. Back to commercial.
More back and forth after the match as they both go down in the middle of the ring. They go up top and Owens gets sent to the mat. Rollins goes for a Frogsplash but Owens rolls out of the way. Owens places a steel chair on Rollins and hits the corner cannonball. Owens with a 2 count.
Owens puts two chairs together and goes to powerbomb Rollins onto them but it’s blocked. Rollins backdrops Owens onto the chairs for a 2 count. Fans chant “this is awesome” now. Rollins goes out and brings another table in the ring. Rollins leans the table in the ring. Rollins counters an attempt and superkicks Owens for a 2 count. Rollins charges in the corner but gets sent to the apron. Rollins with an enziguri. Rollins goes up top but gets crotched. Owens rocks him. Owens climbs up for a superplex but Rollins resists. Rollins slips underneath and powerbombs Owens across the ring, through the table in the corner. Owens still kicks out at 2.
Owens rolls to the floor for a breather. Rollins follows and kicks him in the head. Rollins clotheslines Owens over the barrier into the crowd. Rollins leaps off the barrier and clotheslines Owens. They brawl through the crowd now. Owens stumbles back to the ring but here comes Rollins. Rollins whips him into a trash can. Rollins picks up part of the can and throws it at Owens. Owens with a kick to the ribs. Owens goes for a pop-up powerbomb on the concrete but Rollins holds on to the wall and climbs up with fans on top of an entrance way. Rollins leaps off the entrance way and nails Owens for a big pop and a “holy shit” chant. Rollins fights Owens back to the ring now.
Fans chant “this is awesome” as Rollins backdrops Owens over the barrier to the ringside area. Rollins jumps on the barrier but someone trips him from behind in the crowd. It looks like a fan wearing a lucha mask. The fan fights with Rollins and beats on him. Rollins yanks the mask off and it’s revealed to be Chris Jericho. Rollins hits a Pedigree on the floor to Jericho. Owens takes advantage and kicks Rollins, then powerbombs him into the apron. Owens brings Rollins back in the ring and covers for the win.
Winner: Kevin Owens
– After the match, Jericho recovers at ringside and smiles. Owens clutches his title and is slow to get up as we go to replays. We come back to Owens standing tall with the title while Rollins is still down on the mat. Owens and Jericho celebrate at ringside and make their way to the ramp. Referees check on Rollins now. Owens comes back and poses on the apron with his title. Jericho joins him. RAW goes off the air with Owens raising the title.
