– Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a look back at last week with Roman Reigns and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus.
– We’re live from North Charleston, South Carolina as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined by Byron Saxton and JBL. The League of Nations is in the ring with their own theme song. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus speaks first and is really happy tonight. The “you look stupid” chants start up. Sheamus asks how he can look stupid if he’s the champion. He brings up Roman Reigns and WWE TLC, bragging about beating Reigns last week. Sheamus says WWE has officially entered the International Era and introduces The League of Nations to boos. He puts over the group and introduces Rusev from Bulgaria, United States Champion Alberto Del Rio from Mexico and King Barrett from England. The USA chants start up.
Sheamus says it’s 2015 and America just doesn’t cut it anymore. They tried to find someone from America but couldn’t find an American to lace their boots. More “stupid” chants from the crowd. Sheamus talks about how there’s not another 4 men who can compare to them. The lights go out and when they come back on, The Wyatt Family is standing in the ring. Fans chant “yes!” as the two groups face off. Bray Wyatt says they haven’t been properly introduced. He introduces himself and his brothers. Wyatt says this is his world and he’s just allowing Sheamus and his buddies to breathe in it. Wyatt says they didn’t come to talk, they came for the chaos. The pyro goes off and out come The Dudley Boyz with Tommy Dreamer on the stage.
Bubba Ray Dudley isn’t wearing his glasses tonight. He has words for Wyatt but Wyatt reminds him he’s out-manned. Devon Dudley says when you’re extreme, you don’t die – you multiply. The music hits and out comes Rhyno. The ECW Originals approach the ring but Roman Reigns’ music hits and out he comes through the crowd with The Usos and Dean Ambrose. We go to commercial.
Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match: Team Roman Reigns vs. ECW Originals vs. League of Nations vs. The Wyatt Family
This match has 1 member of each team in the ring at the same time. It starts with chaos. Alberto Del Rio comes in with a backstabber and a 2 count on Ambrose. Rusev comes in and slams Devon for a 2 count. Jimmy Uso comes in and goes at it with Rusev. Bray Wyatt tags in and runs over Uso. Rusev works over Devon while Wyatt works over Uso. Devon turns it around and tags in Rhyno. Rhyno runs over Wyatt and Rusev. He hits a belly to belly on Uso. Braun Strowman tags in and Wyatt sends him to battle.
He takes down Rusev, Rhyno and Uso. Dreamer tags in and teams with Rhyno to knock Strowman out of the ring on his feet. Uso with a superkick on Dreamer. Rusev with a fall-away slam to Uso and a clothesline to Erick Rowan on the apron. Rusev goes to the top but Uso cuts him off. Jey Uso tags in for a double superplex but Braun runs in and slams them all to the mat, including Dreamer. Rowan tags in and knocks the Originals off the apron. He misses Dreamer in the ring and Dreamer hits a Dreamer Driver for the pin. The Wyatt Family is eliminated. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Sheamus and Del Rio are in control. Del Rio with a running enziguri on Uso for a 2 count. Sheamus comes back in but Dreamer hits him with a swinging neckbreaker. Bubba tags in and unloads on Sheamus. Bubba with a big slam and a 2 count as Barrett breaks it up. The ring fills up with bodies as there’s chaos once again. It comes down to Reigns and Rhyno in the ring.
They stare each other down but Rusev and Sheamus attack them. The Dudleyz hit a 3D on Rusev. They go for the big headbutt but Del Rio makes the save. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Bubba and Team Extreme has been eliminated.
Ambrose unloads on Rusev once things settle back down. Ambrose with a forearm and running bulldog. He goes to the top for the big elbow drop and a 2 count. We go to commercial with Ambrose in control.
Back from the break and the heels keep Jey Uso from tagging. Del Rio with a big kick to the face for a 2 count. Del Rio mounts Uso in the corner with right hands. Rusev comes in with a bear hug on Uso. He fights out but Barrett comes in to keep him from tagging. Barrett ends up caught on the top rope and Reigns get the tag. He unloads on Del Rio with clotheslines as some fans boo. Reigns runs into a big boot but rolls Del Rio up for a 2 count. Reigns with the one-arm powerbomb. Reigns calls for the Superman punch but hits Barrett with it on the apron. Del Rio gets dumped to the apron and hit with a Superman punch. Sheamus runs in but Ambrose sends him to the floor. Reigns runs around with a Drive By on Sheamus. Ambrose dives out onto Rusev. Del Rio sends Reigns into the barrier but Uso leaps out onto Del Rio. Reigns brings Del Rio in the ring but Sheamus grabs Reigns’ leg and Del Rio hits a superkick for a close 2 count. Del Rio with the cross armbreaker but Uso breaks it with a splash from the top. Sheamus comes in for a Brogue Kick but Reigns spears him in mid-air for the win.
Winners: Roman Reigns, The Usos and Dean Ambrose
– After the match, Team Reigns stands tall in the ring.
– We see Ric Flair and Charlotte backstage talking. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Renee Young approaches Sheamus backstage. He says what just happened was a miracle and borrowing a line from Vince McMahon, there’s no chance in hell the same thing will happen at TLC. Sheamus yells about how he’s going to destroy Reigns at TLC. Sheamus says he’s going to teach Reigns a lesson in front of the entire world later tonight. He storms off.
– Stardust is backstage in his Star Room. He cuts a bizarre promo on Jack Swagger. Titus O’Neil appears and disses the Star Room and Stardust’s rants. He jokes about Stardust needing to “get him some.” Stardust insists he does have a life, despite wanting to see WWE covered in sorrow and darkness. A friendly Titus says he will see Stardust “out there” and walks off.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens
We go to the ring and out comes Dolph Ziggler. Tyler Breeze is out next with Summer Rae. They make their way to the ringside VIP box. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens for this non-title match. They lock up and Owens sends Ziggler to the mat and starts talking trash. They trade holds and we see Ambrose watching backstage with a drink and some popcorn.
Owens ends up taking Ziggler down with a headlock and keeping him grounded as Breeze and Summer enjoy their drinks in the VIP. Ziggler turns it around on the mat now. Owens takes back control with big chops and beats Ziggler from corner to corner. Ziggler kicks Owens in the face and fires away with strikes. Owens blocks the big DDT but Ziggler hits a dropkick. Owens blocks a neckbreaker and dodges a superkick. Owens rolls to the floor. They end up on the outside going at it. Owens catches Ziggler and hits a fall-away slam into the barrier. Owens brings it back in for three close 2 counts. Owens mounts Ziggler with right hands now. Owens with a stomp and some showing off.
Ziggler fights back but Owens drops him with a big right hand and covers for 2. Owens rubs his forearm into Ziggler’s nose. Owens taunts Ziggler and hits a big chop. Owens misses the senton as Ziggler rolls out of the way. Ziggler gets up and fights back but misses a splash in the corner. Owens launches Ziggler into the ring post and he tumbles out to the floor. Ziggler makes it back in at the 9 count but Owens hits the senton for a 2 count. Owens yells at the referee. Ziggler rolls to the floor for a breather. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Owens nails Ziggler for a 2 count and kept control through the commercial. We see Ambrose watching backstage again. More back and forth. Owens hits the ring post this time. Ziggler makes a comeback now. He nails the splash and swinging neckbreaker out of the corner. Ziggler drops an elbow for a 2 count. Owens blocks a DDT and dumps Ziggler out to the floor again as Breeze looks on. Owens goes out and talks trash to the announcers, allowing Ziggler to nail a big DDT on the floor.
Ziggler brings Owens back in the ring for a close 2 count. Owens blocks the Fame-asser and launches Ziggler with a big German suplex. Ziggler avoids the corner cannonball and hits the Fame-asser for a close 2 count. Owens blocks a superkick and hits one of his own. Ziggler comes right back and drops Owens for a close 2 count. Ziggler drops Owens with a punch and then a headbutt. Owens comes right back and hits the pop-up powerbomb for the win.
Winner: Kevin Owens
– After the match, Dean Ambrose’s music hits and out he comes with a popcorn and soda. Owens grabs his title and yells about his music being played. Ambrose enters the ring, still snacking on popcorn. Owens asks what he wants and runs his mouth some. Ambrose tosses the popcorn and the soda in Owens’ face and leaves as his music hits again. Owens isn’t happy.
– We go to Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family. He talks about the ECW Originals and says it’s up to The Wyatt Family to decide their fate. Braun Strowman says he had a dream that he becomes Tommy Dreamer’s nightmare and chokes the life out of him. Wyatt says Braun will show Dreamer what it means to be extreme tonight. Braun smiles and tells Dreamer to run.
Sasha Banks and Naomi vs. Alicia Fox and Brie Bella
We go to the ring and out comes Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina Snuka. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and The Miz walks up on Neville backstage. Miz is serious about what he said on SmackDown, he believes he can take Neville from “elf on the shelf” to the next Daniel Bryan, with his expertise. Miz brings in Donny Deutsch from USA Network’s “Donny!,” which airs after RAW. He ends up inviting Neville on the show, dissing Miz and walking off. Miz gives Neville his business card and walks off but Neville tosses it. We get a sidebar video from Team BAD as Brie Bella and Alicia Fox make their way to the ring.
Sasha and Alicia go at it to start. Alicia catches her in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a 2 count. It appears there was a wardrobe malfunction as the screen goes black for a second. Naomi tags in and gets caught in a backbreaker as well. Team BAD regroups on the floor for a breather. Sasha and Naomi get double teamed but turn it around back in the ring and keep Alicia down in their corner. Naomi with a close 2 count on Alicia as she keeps her grounded.
Brie gets knocked off the apron as Sasha and Fox go at it. More back and forth. Brie tag in and unloads on Naomi with “yes!” kicks as fans chant. Brie with a 2 count on Naomi as Sasha breaks it. Fox comes in but Sasha sends her to the floor. Brie sends Sasha out and turns around to a Rear View from Naomi for the win.
Winners: Naomi and Sasha Banks
– After the match, Team BAD celebrates but are interrupted by WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. Big E addresses them as Cole talks about their friendship and interactions on social media. The two teams face off and joke around. The New Day presents them with the new unicorn horns that are being sold on WWE Shop. They all put one on and dance around. We go to commercial with Sasha twerking and Xavier Woods kneeling down by her with the trombone.
– Back from the break and The New Day with their unicorn horns are still in the ring. Team BAD has left. They cut promos and talk about defending against The Lucha Dragons and The Usos in a Ladder Triple Threat at TLC on Sunday. We see The Usos on commentary. They go on with their promo until Sin Cara and Kalisto interrupt.
The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day
The Lucha Dragons hit the ring for this non-title match. Big E and Kofi Kingston are representing The New Day. Cara and Kofi go at it. Kofi quickly tags in Big E and Cara kicks him off the apron. Cara goes at it with Kofi and leaps out but Big E catches him with a big suplex on the floor. Woods plays the trombone as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and The New Day is in control. Big E takes Kalisto and runs with him, driving him into the barrier pretty hard. They keep Kalisto down in their corner now. Big E and Cara get tags and go at it with each other. Cara with a crossbody. Kofi tags in and Cara takes them both down with a moonsault. Cara covers the wrong person for the pin. Woods plays the trombone at ringside but gets beat down by The Usos. Cara takes advantage of Kofi being distracted and rolls him up for the non-title win.
Winners: The Lucha Dragons
– After the match, The Lucha Dragons leave and celebrate as The Usos roll Woods in the ring to Big E and Kofi. We see The Usos leaving with Xavier’s trombone.
– Renee is backstage with Reigns. He talks about teaching a lesson to Sheamus tonight and at TLC, where he will take the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
– Still to come, The Flairs on MizTV. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and The Miz is in the ring for another must-see episode of MizTV. He says Paige was originally to be his guest but he introduces WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte. Paige vs. Charlotte is announced for TLC on Sunday. Flair and Charlotte show off their matching Rolexes.
Charlotte ends up turning it around on Miz and saying she feels sorry for his wife, who is Maryse. Miz says he’s not going to let her do this and says she’s changed. He says her father has taught her well. Charlotte says she will say what she has to say in the ring on Sunday. Miz asks her why she won’t answer his questions when she has an open forum. Ric speaks up and says this isn’t the chance for Miz to boost his ratings on MizTV. Miz asks if Charlotte is going to hide behind her dad. Flair warns Miz and Charlotte speaks up. She talks about Paige and says she will be lucky to step into a ring again after Sunday. Miz is glad she said that because guess who is here… Paige. Out she comes to a pop.
Ric says this is all a ploy to upset Charlotte and tells her to save it for Sunday. He gets Charlotte to leave the ring. Paige slaps Ric before he can leave and then she does the Flair strut. Charlotte looks on with her mouth hanging open. Flair tells Charlotte to get Paige and in the ring she comes. They brawl and Paige retreats up the ramp. Charlotte and Flair look on as Paige’s music hits and she taunts them.
– The announcers plug the WWE Network and we get a look back at Reigns and Sheamus from earlier tonight. They hype the TLC main event on Sunday. Still to come, Ryback vs. Rusev. Back to commercial.
Ryback vs. Rusev
Back from the break and out comes Ryback. Rusev and Lana are out next. We get a sidebar video from earlier of the two kissing. Lana forgives Ryback for what happened last week and says it was an accident. The bell rings and Rusev immediately goes to the floor to Lana. He comes back in at the 8 count. They go at it finally. Ryback ends up diving out onto Rusev as he’s stalling. Ryback brings it back in for a 2 count. Ryback beats Rusev around the ring now. Ryback with a suplex and a 2 count.
Rusev sends Ryback over the top and he lands hard. Ryback comes back to the apron but Rusev goes to work on the arm as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Rusev stops a press slam from Ryback and takes control. Rusev keeps working on Rusev’s arm until he turns it around. Ryback with thrusts in the corner. Rusev runs into an elbow. Ryback with a dropkick from the second rope for a 2 count. They go back to the floor and Ryback causes Lana to fall down again by running into her while chasing Rusev, or Lana ran into him. He shows concern but gets attacked from behind by Rusev. Rusev sends Ryback into the steel steps and puts him in The Accolade on the floor. Lana stops selling and we see it was all a ruse. They kiss as the music hits. Back to commercial.
Stardust vs. Jack Swagger
Back from the break and Stardust vs. Jack Swagger is already in progress. Titus O’Neil is on commentary. Swagger goes for a Patriot Lock as Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and out comes the WWE United States Champion with Zeb Colter. This distracts Swagger and Stardust takes control. Titus talks about how he wants to turn Stardust back to Cody Rhodes because he’s the son of a Hall of Famer.
Back and forth in the match. Swagger with a Swagger Bomb for a 2 count. Stardust ends up tapping out to the Patriot Lock.
Winner: Jack Swagger
– As soon as the bell hits, Del Rio runs in and nails Swagger with a chair. Stardust sneaks up from behind but Titus yells to Del Rio to look out and he catches Stardust, who also takes chair shots. Del Rio goes to the floor after Swagger but Swagger grab a chair of his own. They both swing them and Del Rio drops his after they clash. Del Rio trips over Zeb’s scooter as he runs away. Swagger yells at Zeb now. Zeb just stares at him and drives away as Swagger’s music hits.
– We go to Adam Rose for another Rosebush gossip segment. He jokes on Neville and Rhyno.
– We go to Zeb and Del Rio backstage. Zeb is sorry for what happened. Del Rio says people laughed at him and it’s Zeb’s fault, him and his stupid scooter. Del Rio tells Zeb to stay away from him because he no longer needs him. Zeb tells Zeb to calm down and calls him a hot head. Zeb says Del Rio wouldn’t be champion if it weren’t for him. Del Rio yells at him to shut up and threatens to hit him with a chair, jut like he’s going to do to Swagger at TLC. Zeb rides off and Del Rio is still throwing a fit. We go to commercial.
Tommy Dreamer vs. Braun Strowman
Back from the break and out comes Tommy Dreamer with the ECW Originals. The Wyatt Family is out next.
Braun controls most of the match. Dreamer tries to make a comeback at the end but Braun wins by choking him out.
Winner: Braun Strowman
– We see Sheamus backstage walking. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Roman Reigns is already out to the ring. Tables, ladders and chairs are set up everywhere. Reigns says he’s here for his lesson and asks where Sheamus is. Reigns cuts a promo and says he’s taking back what is his at TLC. But as far as tonight goes, he’s not leaving until he beats Sheamus around the arena with every toy we see in the ring. Reigns tells Sheamus to bring his ass out and here comes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Sheamus comes to the stage and says TLC will end just like Survivor Series, with him standing over Reigns as champion. Reigns challenges Sheamus to come to the ring. Reigns thought the Irish like to fight. He also thought Irishmen had potatoes and says it looks like Sheamus is just smuggling tater tots. They go back and forth for a few minutes on the mic. Sheamus acts like he’s going to rush the ring. A “tater tots” chant breaks out. Sheamus talks more about what he’s going to do at TLC. Reigns tells him to come in the ring again. Sheamus talks about why he’s not coming in the ring again. Sheamus wants Reigns to clear all the weapons from the ring. He does and launches a ladder out but Sheamus moves. Fans keep chanting “tater tot” at Sheamus.
After a lot of nothing, Sheamus finally hits the ring and they start brawling. They end up on the floor and over the announce table. Sheamus blocks a table shot and sends Reigns into the barrier. Sheamus sends Reigns’ head into a ladder. Reigns fights back and they brawl over into the crowd. They fight over to the side of the stage now. Reigns pushes Sheamus into a table that’s leaned against a ladder. Reigns brings it up onto the stage and goes for a powerbomb but Sheamus blocks it and drops him. Sheamus takes control and hits Reigns with a chair over the back. Reigns comes back with a chair shot of his own. Reigns fights Sheamus back to ringside. Sheamus sends Reigns into the barrier. Sheamus goes for a powerbomb through the announce table but Reigns nails a Superman punch. Reigns goes for a spear but Sheamus sidesteps and Reigns hits the announce table, landing on monitors and equipment. Reigns comes back and spears Sheamus through a table. Referees check on Sheamus but he’s laid out. Reigns slowly gets up as his music hits and RAW goes off the air.
